He possesses a truly extraordinary knowledge of Jiu-Jitsu as a martial art and sport. A distinguished practitioner, coach, and teacher holding the prestigious rank of coral belt in jiu-jitsu. The coral belt, often revered as the "Master's Belt," symbolizes Marcelo's profound impact on the evolution of jiu-jitsu both locally, regionally, and globally. SEATTLE BUDOKAN JUDO

ISMMA’s Judo program is linked with Seattle’s prestigous Budokan Dojo, with many of our coaches, athletes, and students sharing direct lineage and the mats with the famed dojo. For 50+ years, Budokan Dojo has been teaching judo to hundreds of students, including National Champions and Olympians. Budokan Dojo operates out of Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Washington in the nearby International District and offers classes to students of all ages, with levels ranging from Junior to Advanced.
